What was your methodology for deciding the prices?
ReplyDeleteI took several current and past equipment lists from several game systems, and then boiled them down to an average price range. Then I compared several key items to real world resources, such as one of the Domesday Books, and a few other "surveys" done during medieval times to colonial times. After establishing several baseline prices, I then adjusted numbers to reflect comparative prices.
DeleteSeveral prices from existing equipment lists remained untouched (establishing key item values), and the new price lists were then built around them.
A lot of the background math is based on a stack of notes that encompass several articles, some of which have been published here, or soon will be.
